Both Pro-Optic® Traditional and Pro-Optic® Zinc Free Formulas contain Natural Vitamin E. We use natural Vitamin E because it is a safer and more tolerable form of the vitamin and is 100% more bioavailable. Because of the increased absorption, less is needed to reach the therapeutic levels obtained throughout the AREDS 2 study.
